NYC based & Latinx owned, Asters Eyewear was founded on the idea that you can design, create, and consume thoughtfully.

Our core fundamentals 

Sustainability – We use an eco plant-based cellulose acetate material in all of our frames. Our packaging is a combination of 100% recycled cardboard and an organic 100% linen eyewear baggy, both made locally in Brooklyn, N.Y. 

Forward thinking – The science behind blue light is rudimentary, but one thing we know for sure is that blue-light blocking glasses help you sleep better & keep the skin around your eyes looking fresh. 

Flattering/Good design - You know if something is a good design upon putting it on, our frames are designed to be flattering on you and are lightweight, hypoallergenic and comfortable. 

Intentional –  Our collection was designed and created from a desire for classic, well made frames that are sustainably made. 

Our founder is of Mexican-Puerto Rican descent and lives in the Manhattan neighborhood of Chelsea.
