About Asters Eyewear
Our founder is a Mexican-American designer who grew up in Brooklyn and along the Texas–Mexico border. An avid runner, she named the brand after a flower she often passed on her running path along the West Side Highway.
A late-blooming perennial, Asters provide food for pollinators – like bees, butterflies, and small birds – during the cooler months when other food sources are scarce.
Asters bloom in full sun – and so should you.
